The Xbox booth will feature over 20 titles to play, along with the first hands-on experience with the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. For those who cannot attend, they can stay tuned for two days of broadcasts live from the show floor on August 20 and 21.
After some shaky years of announcements from the Xbox camp, 2025 could be their biggest year to turn things around in a while. The booth will not only have 120 gaming stations featuring games from their first-party studios and our amazing third-party partners, but also include photo opportunities and experiences. gamescom 2025 attendees will not only get to play the newest Silksong demo, but it will be playable on the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. Finally, players will have a chance to see the much-anticipated Hollow Knight sequel firsthand!
Roblox, Sea of Thieves, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 will also be playable on the new handheld Xbox/ASUS-collaborated consoles. In addition to these titles listed, gamescom visitors will be able to check out Obsidian Entertainment and Eidos Montreal’s Grounded 2. The booth will also provide the first public hands-on experience with Ninja Gaiden 4. Who can forget Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, as MachineGames and Lucasfilm Games showcase the new DLC: The Order of Giants.
Xbox’s list of games does not stop, as World’s Edge brings Age of Empires and Age of Mythology: Retold. With a significant presence on the show floor, the studio will be showcasing the depth and diversity of the Age franchise, offering fans a fresh look at beloved titles and teasing a few surprises along the way. Also, be sure to bring your best piloting skills to gamescom 2025. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 introduces an exciting city update, a brand-new aircraft that many fans will recognize for use in the sim, and exciting and unique challenges for players to test their piloting skills.
The last of Xbox’s long list of plans for gamescom 2025 includes their special, exclusive theatre presentation of The Outer Worlds 2, the sequel to the award-winning first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment. Step into Protectorate territory for an exclusive look inside the Tomb of the Matriarch—an opulent facility where history, loyalty, and propaganda intertwine. In this guided theatre experience, witness how The Outer Worlds 2 explores a society that trades freedom for security, and reveres its founders with unsettling devotion.
