In a recent report, the numbers for the hugely popular MMO, World of Warcraft were released, and they are on the decline.
As of September 30th, World of Warcraft numbers have dropped to a stable 5.5 million. For reference World of Warcraft at launch in 2005 managed 1.5 million, and at its peak in of Q3 2010 managed 12 million.
Despite these setbacks, World of Warcraft does remain one of the most played MMOs of all time, and will be launching a new expansion soon, Legion. Legion will feature a new class, customizable Artifact weapons, class order halls, along with other enhancements.
