It is no surprise that Xbox will be attending gamescom 2023, Microsoft has gone ahead and revealed some of the exciting details surrounding their booth at the event.
There’s no question that Microsoft will have a massive presence at gamescom 2023, and this year, they’re promising their “largest booth yet.” In a post on the official Xbox website, the Integrated Marketing Lead of Xbox, Maxi Graeff detailed the company’s plans for the massive event to prepare fans for the upcoming stream of everything fans can ‘jump in’ to at their booth, on the show floor, and what’s next for the brand. It’s worth noting that there will be gratuitous Starfield exposure, and a slew of other Xbox-published titles will be present.
Firstly, at the gamescom 2023 Xbox Booth there will be over 30 titles available to watch and play at over 150 gaming stations. There will be a huge theatre presentation on Starfield, in a 300-seat constructed theatre specially assembled for the event. Other titles that will be present are the upcoming Xbox-published Forza Motorsport, Ara: History Untold, and Senua´s Saga: Hellblade II will make big appearances at the booth, Unfortunately, Playground Games’ take on the Fable franchise hasn’t been mentioned at all. But, the best part about gamescom 2023 is getting to play, and Xbox brought the sticks. Towerborne and S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 will be available hands-on for the first time ever.
The Xbox Booth will also house the upcoming slate of ID@Xbox offerings, featuring over 25 titles from the indie gaming scene, and in celebration of 10 years of ID@Xbox, the upcoming Lamplighter’s League, SteamWorld Build, Lightyear Frontier, and a lot more will be playable from the show floor.
