Few things are certainties in life, and besides death and taxes, Xbox Game Pass delivers the best the gaming world has to offer, by adding to its immense service each month.
With April well underway, the service has already delivered some exciting offerings to Xbox Game Pass. With the Ultimate edition, fans not only have access to the entire Xbox published library on day one — including massive titles like Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 at no extra charge — many huge EA Play featured titles and sports games arrive on the service, such as Madden 22, and MLB The Show 22.
With so much else going on in the world, it may be difficult to keep up with what’s newly arriving to the service each month, so we here at CGMagazine compile a handy list of all the confirmed arrivals each month so fans don’t have to. Without further ado, this is the Xbox Game Pass guide to April.
New Arrivals and Coming To Xbox Game Pass April 2022

- MLB The Show 22 (Console and PC) – Released April 4th
- Cricket 22 (Console and PC) – Released April 4th
- Chinatown Detective Agency (Console and PC) – Released April 7th
- Dragon Age 2 (Console and PC) via EA Play – Released April 7th
- Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare (Console and PC) via EA Play – April 7th
- Star Wars: Squadrons (Console and PC) via EA Play – Released April 7th

- Panzer Corps 2 (PC) – April 12th
- The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos (Console and PC) – April 12th
- Lost in Random (Console and PC) – April 14th
The most notable inclusion is the day one release of MLB The Show 22, as the title is not only published by Sony but its inclusion comes at no extra cost and PlayStation owners have no option to obtain the title under a subscription (currently). Although it may arrive on the newly announced Playstation Plus revamp set to arrive in June.
With the good news, unfortunately there’s bad news, and to supply gamers with a streamlined service, titles get removed from Xbox Game Pass each month to allow the new arrivals space to flourish.
Leaving Xbox Game Pass in April 2022

- Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Shadowkeep, & Forsaken (PC) – April 11th
- MLB The Show 21 (Console and PC) – April 15th
- Rain On Your Parade (Console and PC) – April 15th
- The Long Dark (Console and PC) – April 15th
- Pathway (PC) – April 15th
- F1 2019 (Console and PC) via EA Play – April 18th
Destiny 2 and its DLC have already been removed from Xbox Game Pass for console earlier in the year, and finally the plug has been pulled on PC, so Guardians looking to get last-minute raids done have the weekend before the Bungie Sci-Fi epic leaves.
Of course, with every month Xbox Game Pass trickles out the news on what’s arriving, as the month wears on. While Chinatown Detective Club and Life is Strange: True Colors are exciting arrivals, there may be more left in the barrel for the service to unveil in the coming weeks for April, and their Twitter is a good spot to visit in an effort to stay informed.
