Transition To The World Of AR

XREAL Launches The XREAL Beam Pro Globally at AWE 2024

XREAL has launched the XREAL Beam Pro at AWE 2024, bringing augmented reality to everyone using apps in a 3D environment with the XREAL AR glasses!

The XREAL Beam Pro is an ultimate companion for those with XREAL glasses, broadcasting your apps from social media, streaming services, and gaming platforms in a 3D environment. Alongside broadcasting in a 3D AR environment, it is powered by the Snapdragon Processors from Qualcomm Technologies, running on Android 14, and a 50MP 3D camera for users to create high-definition spatial videos and 3D images.

Focusing a bit more on the XREAL Beam Pro, it uses an XREAL NebulaOS to utilize the custom spatial UI to help make it easy for users to use 2D apps in an optimized 3DoF or 6DoF spatial environment when connected to XREAL AR glasses. This is far from providing a simple screen mirroring, as it allows users to access two apps in a spatial canvas by having them side-by-side navigate and control the canvas by using the XREAL Beam Pro as a pointer and touchpad.

In addition to the control options for XREAL Beam Pro, the virtual screen can be in a fixed position if the users select XREAL Body Anchor Mode or use the Smooth Follow mode to make sure whatever content is being broadcasted is kept in front your eyes and follow the movement of your head.

For those with previous XREAL products like XREAL Air, Air 2, and Air 2 Pro glasses, users can access the 3DoF environment out of the box when paired with the XREAL Beam Pro. However, if you have an Air 2 Ultra, users can use the 6DoF environment thanks to the dual 3D environment sensor.

Diving deep into the specs of the XREAL Beam Pro, it will be running on Snapdragon Spatial Companion processors to help multiple power-efficient software run smoothly and utilize the 5G carriers simultaneously. Regarding software, it will run on Android 14 with NebulaOS on top, supports Wi-Fi 6 and 5G compatible, and has Bluetooth 5.2 to support wireless headphones, keyboard, and gamepads. Focusing on the hardware, it will have a 6.5-inch LCD 2K (2400 x 1080) touchscreen, dual USB port for charging and using the XREAL glasses at the same time, 27W fast charging support, and a 50MP 3D camera to capture moments at 1080p at 60fps, and enjoying the videos on a massive virtual screen in a 3D environment.

As we mentioned the Snapdragon processor in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies to innovate the concept of AR, XREAL has also collaborated with Amazon Web Service (AWS) during the development of XREAL Beam Pro to deliver empowering cloud capabilities. With the help of AWS, it will explore ways for users to create versatile mobile AR experiences with the tools enhancing the processing power and functionality of the XREAL Beam Pro.

If you often play video games, the XREAL Beam Pro will support many cloud-gaming services to provide a gaming experience from the cloud, whether through the Google Play Store or a browser. With the XREAL Beam Pro paired with the XREAL glasses, users can enjoy playing games from NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Amazon Luna, Steam Link, and many more cloud gaming services on the virtual screen in a 3D environment!
