Prior to its theatrical debut, Toronto will host an exclusive screening of Michael Mann’s “Ferrari” at TIFF LightBox on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, unveiling the cinematic brilliance of Enzo Ferrari’s life just in time for the holidays.
In an exclusive collaboration, Elevation Pictures and ICFF, presented by Lavazza, partners with Liberty Entertainment Group to celebrate the Canadian Premiere of the long-awaited Ferrari biopic, taking the event to unprecedented heights.
Ferrari is set during the summer of 1957. Behind the spectacle and danger of 1950’s Formula 1, ex-racer, Enzo Ferrari, is in crisis. Bankruptcy stalks the company he and his wife, Laura, built from nothing ten years earlier. Their tempestuous marriage struggles with the mourning for their one son. Ferrari struggles with the acknowledgement of another. His drivers’ lust to win pushes them out to the edge. He wagers all in a roll of the dice on one race, the treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy, the iconic Mille Miglia. FERRARI stars Adam Driver alongside a stellar cast featuring , Penélope Cruz, , Patrick Dempsey, Jack O’Connell, Shailene Woodley and Sarah Gadon, adds further allure to this star-studded affair.
In a unique partnership supported by Ferrari of Ontario, the Toronto Premiere is more than just a screening; it’s a spectacle. Following the cinematic journey, guests are invited to an All-Black VIP party at the iconic castle of Casa Loma, creating an elegant “red” fusion of glamour, culture, and automotive history.
“Ferrari” is set to release in theaters nationwide on Christmas Day.
