Chasing Symbolic Deer

This little treasure of a comic that I luckily happened upon, is notably absorbing. A single-issue story not solely concerning a hunter and his prey. It is man versus his loneliness and emotional abandonment. The hunter in the distant, cold North pursuing a dear. A dear that symbolizes pride, arrogance, failure and success throughout the hunt and throughout life.

Wrought with cold and fever, the hunter disregards his experienced instinct and follows a dear so far North we wonder if in actuality there is a dear, or merely a feverish hallucination spiriting our protagonist. Weather lies or facts feed this hunt, it is an

inherent will to live that drives them both, to an edge few ever venture close enough to find what lies at the foundation.
