The Anda Seat Kaiser 3 Pro is a gaming chair that boasts exceptional durability, comfort and adaptability. SGS-certified, the Kaiser 3 Pro offers impressive flexibility and adjustment while providing a sturdy structure and design. Built-in adjustable lumbar support, a magnetic head pillow and 5D (not a typo) armrests help position the Kaiser 3 Pro as one of the more comfortable and adaptable chairs in its price range.
Out of the box, the Kaiser 3 Pro is quite easy to assemble. The instructions are clear, easy to follow and, most importantly, short. Much of the chair comes pre-assembled, and the components that do need to be bolted together fit without much resistance. Bolts fit properly, and there was never a moment where I had to attempt to hold pieces together with one hand while desperately trying to thread a screw before it all came spiralling apart. I also appreciated the inclusion of magnetically attached cover plates to hide bolts and joints, which makes the chair look clean and seamless.

With two materials to choose from—DuraXtra synthetic leather or breathable linen—the Kaiser 3 Pro offers an impressive nine colour selections. Anda Seat sent along the leather version in black for review, and it is a looker, to say the least. Subtle orange stitching accents the edges of both the back and seat, and the plush magnetic pillow displays an embroidered Anda Seat logo. Two cutouts above the shoulders offer depth to the backrest and give the Kaiser 3 Pro some character.
“The padding in the Kaiser 3 Pro strikes the sweet spot between comfort and firmness, offering a plush yet supportive experience.”
The padding in the Kaiser 3 Pro is also quite comfortable. While many gaming chairs typically provide stiffer foam for longevity, the trade-off is overall comfort. The Kaiser 3 Pro offers a more plush padding experience that still manages to maintain its firm form even after stress testing. It strikes the sweet spot between comfort and firmness.
The armrests are a bit of a unique affair in their own right, offering what Anda Seat calls a 5D experience. While most of the positioning is fairly standard—such as the 2.56-inch up-down, 1.18-inch right-left, 1.18-inch forward-back and 70-degree inward-outward rotation—the standout feature is the 40-degree upward fold at the centre of the armrest. At first glance, one would be forgiven for seeing this as a bit of a gimmick.

However, it is actually a smart design choice. The 40-degree upward fold was added to accommodate mobile and console gamers who naturally default to controller play. When combined with the 70-degree inward-outward rotation, the Kaiser 3 Pro becomes an exceptionally comfortable controller-using experience. While it took me a moment to adjust to the armrest positioning with this 5D experience, I have become quite accustomed to leveraging the chair’s full armrest capabilities.
Circling back to the magnetic pillow, the Kaiser 3 Pro convinced me that this is the best way to handle chair pillows. One of the challenges with traditional strapped pillows for headrests is that positioning is almost always a challenge. The straps simply cannot accommodate the vast range of heights of gamers, which often leaves the user with poor pillow positioning or simply resigning to not use it at all. The magnetic pillow offers an excellent range of height without the fuss of strap adjustments.
Additionally, it is a comfortable pillow. Anda Seat has included a layer of cooling gel just under the soft top cover. This provides a bit of extra comfort in long gaming sessions. The curvature of the pillow also feels natural along my neck and has, by extension, led to a shift away from my traditional forward-leaning gamer hunch to a better-supported sitting position with my back fully pressed against the backrest.

As for the backrest, it continues the theme of comfort. The padding offers plenty of support while providing ample surface area for those of us with a broader frame. The built-in lumbar system is a welcome change from the more traditional lumbar pillow. Indeed, the built-in lumbar offers a decent range of adjustment to accommodate height and needed support for the most part. Adjustments can be made via the two dials located on either side of the chair, allowing for 76-millimetre up-down movement and 30-millimetre in-out movement.
“With 155° of recline, the Kaiser 3 Pro feels sturdy and supportive, even for users weighing over 200lbs.”
A latter adjustment range is my one small critique of the Kasier 3 Pro. While the in-out adjustment does offer a decent amount of support I would have liked to see a bit more range here. This is most likely in part because I’m an old man but it would have been nice to see just a bit more in-out range to work with. This is a minor critique as there is still plenty of support in the lumbar system.
The backrest recline is another solid element of the Kaiser 3 Pro. Offering 155° of recline, even when fully extended, the Kaiser 3 Pro felt sturdy supporting my frame. I’m not a light guy either, weighing over 200lbs. Being able to comfortably recline to that degree was impressive.

This system is of course supported by a rugged frame and base provided by Anda Seat. The wheelbase measures in at 21.13” providing plenty of support and balance to the Kaiser 3 Pro. I was most impressed with the glide action of the casters. Boasting a noise-free gliding experience, the PU-coated casters not only provided an impressive rolling experience but when tested on a brand-new flooring install in our house (my wife was thrilled about these tests) over the last month, there have not been any noticeable marks on the flooring.
The tilt/lock and height adjustment systems operate smoothly and without issue. On that note, I was quite impressed with the tilt and lock system which feels sturdy when engaged making the whole experience of reclining the chair that much more reliable.
The Anda Seat Kaiser 3 Pro is an excellent gaming chair. It offers great comfort and flexibility to accommodate a host of gamers and their preferred play style. Built-in lumbar, magnetic pillow and the 5D armrest all offer a quality sitting experience. While the former could offer a bit more support the overall experience with the Kaiser 3 Pro makes it a great value-for-dollar gaming chair solution.
