To be honest, with all the bold claims made on the box, I was skeptical it would deliver on half of what it claimed. But somehow it managed to deliver on the potential. I tested the AVerMedia AS311 in a few meetings, calls, and, of course, the dreaded interview. While it seems odd to use the little onboard speaker for these sorts of things, it worked flawlessly. I conducted a few interviews around TIFF with it, and never did I have an issue hearing the person on the other line, and most importantly, the audio from the call was always perfect for transcription or just use in our media.
With features like AI Noise Suppression, and support for all the latest software including Microsoft Teams, Skype, and Zoom, AVerMedia has made a device that does one thing, and does it well. It has become a device I rely on and fits easily into my routine.
