The Razer Reclusa lineup, the company’s first enthusiast keyboard series, now has its second entry: the Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless. The first tri-connective keyboard in the series, the Mini 65% Wireless features the signature Reclusa look and build, with a tri-colour keycap design, hotswappable magnetic switches, 8K polling, and pre-key south-facing RGB LEDs. Built for enthusiasts who are looking to level up their gaming, the Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless is a great option.
Built on the same design and layout as the excellent Reclusa Mini X 65%, the new Mini 65% Wireless carries with it the same premium pedigree of the Reclusa lineup. It presents the same structural build, with impressive layered sound-dampening qualities and a controlled acoustic response. This also delivers a consistent, sturdy tactile response when typing, despite using different switches than the Mini X 65%.

Additionally, in keeping with its enthusiast-first design, the Mini 65% Wireless features hot-swappable magnetic switches, letting users further customize the feel and sound of the Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless. Accenting this are south-facing RGB LEDs, a deliberate design choice that allows for a wider range of keycap support. As for the included keycaps, Razer has included its excellent double-shot ABS solid keycaps, which feel great to use while typing and gaming.
“Built for enthusiasts who are looking to level up their gaming, the Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless is a great option.”
Leaving the familiar behind, the Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless begins to set itself apart in a few key ways. Most notably is the tri-connection solution provided in this latest iteration of the Reclusa lineup. While the original X Mini 65% was a wired keyboard with a max polling rate of 1,000 Hz, respectable even by most gamer standards, the Mini 65% Wireless offers a full 8,000 Hz polling rate, pushing the Mini 65% Wireless into pro gaming territory, spec-wise.
Along with this wired polling rate increase, the Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless also includes 2.4Ghz Hyperspeed wireless with full multi-device support. I’ve found this to be a game changer with other Razer products, especially for my laptop workstation. One receiver to handle my keyboard and mouse is a delight, and it’s nice to see it included with this latest Reclusa release. Finally, thanks to the combination of its compact 65% size and the tri-device Bluetooth connectivity, the Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless is a great companion while travelling.

The other notable difference is the inclusion of a multi-function dial, similar to the one found on the Huntsman V3 Pro 8K TKL I covered last year. This is a step up from the Mini X 65%, offering more customization and control from the board itself.

The biggest change with the Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless, though, comes in the form of the Razer HE magnetic Switches. Replacing the Orange Tactile Switches Gen-3 found in the Mini X 65%, the magnetic switches offer many of the same features and functionalities, such as Razer Snap Tap and dual keypress priority, with one major advantage. They provide more control over actuation and customization, allowing for a broader gaming-first feature set to exist within the Reclusa line.
Specifically, thanks to the HE magnetic Switches, the new Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless allows for Razer’s Dynamic Keystroke, a feature seen in their Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic 8K eSports board. In essence, it allows a single key to hold up to four separate functions based on travel distance. While I still struggle to master its full functionality, Dynamic Keystroke can streamline more historically complex command executions into a single keystroke.

In testing, the Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless provides phenomenal performance in every test. Latency is, for all intents and purposes, nonexistent, delivering consistently accurate response every time. The adjustable acceleration offers a great range from 0.1mm to 4.0mm, letting each user dial in their preferences. While there are several presets to choose from, additional profiles can quickly be added to the Reclusa via Synapse.
“The Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless is a great addition to Razer’s new Enthusiast keyboard lineup, providing the perfect blend of performance and customization.”
For all intents and purposes, the Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless is a hybrid Enthusist/Gaming keyboard that offers premium features and performance. It is an excellent addition to the lineup, but I do want to circle back to the earlier comparison to the Huntsman V3 He Magnetic 8K (specifically the 65% variant).
While they do share many of the same specs, from form factor to switch type, the Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless does offer better connectivity, enthusiast-level customization, and a multifunction dial, all for a mere ten dollars more. If you are in the market for a 65% performance board, the Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless offers all of that and more. All at a reasonably priced $129.99.

The Reclusa Mini 65% Wireless is a great addition to Razer’s new Enthusiast keyboard lineup, providing the perfect blend of performance and customization. It essentially marries together some of the best features of Razer’s excellent eSports keyboard lineup with the heartbeat of the enthusiast, providing a beautiful pairing of the two into an impressive compact keyboard profile.
