Kickstarter will hold events in Toronto on Aug. 8 and 9, as well in Montreal on Aug. 12 and 13. In addition, Kickstarter outlined in its requirements the following: a permanent Canadian residence, a Canadian bank account, address and government-issued identification, and a major Canadian credit card. Prospective creators must be 18 years of age or older.
As it stands, Kickstarter is available in countries such as the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.
