The white Destiny 2 PS4 will come with a 1TB hard drive and will offer gamers resolutions up to 4K in addition to better performance and overall image quality in many titles. The new console will launch with Destiny 2 on September, 6, 2017.
Aside from the console itself, the package will also include a matching Glacier White Dualshock 4 controller, a copy of Destiny 2 and a digital download code that will grant players access to the season pass alongside with additional digital bonuses. The Destiny 2 PS4 Pro Glacier White bundle will retail for $449.99 USD/$549.99 CAN.
This isn’t the first time a limited edition PlayStation 4 was announced alongside Destiny content. When the original Destiny launched back in 2014, another Glacier White PlayStation 4 launched alongside with it. Additionally, Destiny received several expansions since its launch, with the Taken King downloadable content being one of the more substantial upgrades for the title, the Taken King DLC launched in September of 2015 and with it, came arguably one of the better looking limited edition PlayStation 4 consoles.
Like the previously released Glacier White console, the Taken King Destiny themed PlayStation 4 was a white console, but what made it extra special was the ornate detail etched on to the top of the system, which consisted of the map of the game drawn in silver, with a gold Guardian crest in the middle.
For those wanting to try the game out can partake in the pre-order Beta which begins on July 18 on PlayStation 4, with Xbox owners joining in on the fun a day later. An open beta will also be available for those who did not pre-order the title, which will take place on July 21.
