Age of Empires II

Age of Empires II is a strategy game that focuses on a real time strategy (RTS) game which added some new mechanics to the RTS genre (town bell is the most notable). Graphics is all bitmap, but it’s quality is surprisingly high and sound design is immersive and unforgettable. Its design gives Age of Empires II a clear sense of identity through the way it connects setting, mechanics and progression.
