Amazon has revealed its May 2026 Amazon Prime Gaming list of free games.
Amazon Prime memberships have plenty of features for gamers to enjoy each month, including a monthly Twitch Channel subscription, access to their dedicated gaming platform Amazon Luna, as well as a collection of game codes for various platforms. The highlight of Amazon Prime Gaming’s free games this month is 2020’s Mafia 2: Definitive Edition, a remaster of the 2010 classic, which is already available. New games will be made available every Thursday in May.

Before April, the gaming platform Amazon Luna, previously known as Prime Gaming, was available to help users navigate their game library and more easily access the games they got for free from this service. Despite the codes coming out for third-party platforms like GOG and Epic Games Store, Luna had a function which enabled users to start those games all in the same place.
This will soon no longer be the case, as Amazon released a statement regarding changes to Amazon Luna on April 10. Games bought or redeemed on Luna for other platforms, and other games brought onto the Luna library, will be removed after June 10, though any purchases for those other platforms will still be accessible on those platforms. Third-party platforms like the previously mentioned GOG and Epic Games Store have already been removed from Luna, and subscriptions sold through Luna, like Ubisoft+, have been discontinued.
