ASUS has tipped their hand at the Canadian National Expo revealing three promising new AMD ROG motherboards to support the latest Ryzen 7000 processors.

The newly revealed motherboards all fall under the X670E series umbrella, allowing consumers looking for more power, more options. All three of the new motherboards feature support for DDR5 memory modules and PCIe 5.0 devices, including improved bandwidth capabilities for multitasking prowess, stability, and overall connectivity. The ROG Crosshair X670E Hero, ROG Strix X670E-E Gaming WiFi, and TUF Gaming X670E-Plus WiFi are the latest and greatest motherboards from ASUS.

The 18+2 teamed power stages and substantial heatsinks built in, the X670E Hero brings stability and strength while keeping the internal temperature cool.

  • 2x  PCIe 5.0×16 slots for graphics cards
  • 1x PCIe 5.00 M.2 card
  • RGB styling provides users with aesthetic for their PC, without removing power.

The ROG Strix model from the X670E series is a more balanced option in the motherboard lineup, providing 18+2 teamed power stages with a M.2 heatsink, that delivers exceptional power and cooling to the AMD CPU. Featuring an essential power button on the motherboard itself and spare M.2 heatsink thermal pads optimizing pre-testing runs and future replacements. Of course, the board is equipped with style as well, with an illuminated acrylic display on the I/O shield, to provide power and look good doing it.

The TUF Gaming X670E-Plus WiFi Motherboard

The third of the new ASUS motherboard trio is the TUF Gaming X670E-Plus WiFi. A layer of simplicity is added to this device, without sacrificing necessary power to march through a gruelling raid session, with durability in mind. A PCIe Gen 5.0 x 16 slot and four M.2 slots are provided for adaptability to the user.

ASUS Q-Design Features

All the aforementioned motherboards share signature Q-design features from ASUS. The ROG X670E motherboards feature a Q-release button, allowing users to eject their graphics card from the PCIe slot at the press of a button.

  • All three X670E motherboards include the Q-DIMM latching design (single-sided) for easy installation.
  • No need for pesky tools either as the X670E series includes an M.2 Q-latch, letting builders secure or loosen an M.2 drive with fingertips instead of hardware.

The ASUS X670E motherboard trio will be on full display at the Canadian National Expo, at booth #6001 from August 19 until August 21. Fans looking for more information can swing over to the ASUS website for more details.
