Blizzard Gear Store Europe Finally Open for Business 2

The Blizzard Gear store just opened in Europe, allow EU fans to purchase gear from their favourite Blizzard franchises like World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch without import duties.

Items will be shipped to the 28 EU member states, excluding overseas territories, from a new European warehouse. The store has two shipping methods, which are Courier that comes with tracking, and Postal Priority without a tracking number.

The 28 eligible EU member states are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

While fans can purchase items as a guest, they can also use login using their existing Blizzard account. Logging in has the benefits of accessing order history, saving the shipping address, safely storing billing information, and tracking the order.

People who have bought items on the U.S. Gear Store before should also know that order history details won’t transfer over to the EU one. The information won’t be lost, however, as it will still be accessible when logging in to the U.S. website.

As for pre-purchase orders, if EU fans ordered from the U.S., then they can’t directly change it from the U.S. to the new gear store. They can, however, cancel the U.S. pre-purchase and place a new order on the EU Gear Store.

Finally, promotional codes are subject to their own regions. So, a code made for the U.S. Gear Store can’t be redeemed on the EU one.
