Summer Game Fest 2026 is here! Just like last year, SGF 2026 brought the heat with many new trailers, world premieres, and more.
As the sun sets on the previously revealed Sony State of Play 2026 showcase and its massive God of War: Laufey announcement, fans look forward to the main Summer Game Fest 2026 presentation today, for more news, trailers, world premieres and more showing the gaming universe what’s to come in the next calendar year (and oftentimes, beyond). As is expected from the annual Summer Game Fest 2026 showcase, the presentation was chock full of trailers, world premieres, and even a few laughs for annual SGF 2026 showcase viewers, in a long-winded live video presentation.
We here at CGMagazine have compiled the full list of announcements from the Summer Game Fest 2026 livestream. The audience should note that many of the titles featured did not come with a known release date (as usual for SGF), so fans will be waiting for months, and sometimes, years for some of these releases to come out from their announcement. With that being said, Summer Game Fest 2026 brought the heat, and everything is below.
Resident Evil – Code: Veronica
Kicking off the massive two-hour Summer Game Fest 2026 showcase, is a first-person survival horror title, that sets player’s teeth on edge from the Resident Evil series. Resident Evil – Code: Veronica is scheduled to launch in 2027, and it will be a reimagining of the previous title that released in 2000.
Mighty Cuphead Adventure
The next title presented was from Studio MdHr, and featured a segment from a newscaster that looks like CupHead, and he brought an announcement of a brand new game in the series, Mighty Cuphead Adventure. This new title appears to be an 8-bit running shooter, in typical Cuphead fashion. This is a title still in development, and Studio MdHr promises more will be revealed soon.
Alien: Isolation 2
The next title up was from SEGA and Creative Assembly, and it’s a new title in the Alien franchise, Alien: Isolation 2, channeling pure terror in a sequel. It has officially been 12 years since the fan favourite title launched, and now, Creative Assembly has confirmed a sequel.
gen Atlas
The next title shown at Summer Game Fest 2026, is the previously revealed title at SGF called ‘Project Robot’ by the creator of Shadow of the Colossus, and this is the first look fans have been given at gen Atlas since its announcement.
Blood Message
A new single-player action adventure title from NetEase, Blood Message has players embody a warrior fighting for the Tang Dynasty. In one scene, the player character is seen shoving his katana through another adversary’s neck, so one thing is certain: this new title is violent. The first hands-on preview is starting tomorrow!
Stranger Than Heaven
The next title coming from RGG Studio, Stranger Than Heaven, then stole the stage at Summer Game Fest 2026, showcasing who’s starring in the title, and rap legends Tupac and Snoop Dogg will be in the game as cast members. It’s coming on January 15, 2027.
Haex
In a new player-shaped procedural world, the developers at Dead Astronauts (who have worked on titles like The Division) brought a new first-person title to the showcase. The HAEX sneak peek shows fans a mysterious sci-fi world with hostile alien enemies. HAEX will be available on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) in 2027.
Dead by Daylight 20th Anniversary On June 14
On June 14, Dead by Daylight will be making a major announcement showcase to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Mortal Shell II Open Beta is live now on Steam!
Players who can’t wait to get their hands on Mortal Shell II, can dive into a beta on Steam right now.
SAND: Raiders of Sophie
The next title shown at Summer Game Fest 2026 is a new title from tinyBuild that sees combatants build their bases and fight against others. It’s coming on June 10th.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced
Ubisoft then took the stage, showcasing the fresh new look (and glorious shanties) Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced will be receiving when it launches on July 9.
The Last Ronin
Fans who have been scared that The Last Ronin is on the chopping block, Platinum Games has come out and confirmed it’s definitely still in the works with a new teaser. It’s coming soon.
Fortnite Shattered
Ben Starr then took the stage at Summer Game Fest 2026 to share a glimpse of where his journey as The Visitor in Fortnite is going, and in the next season Runners, players will be able to pick up sprites that will give players new abilities (like running faster and jumping higher). In the new trailer, John Wick has been confirmed as an outfit in Chapter 7 Season 3. The new season starts tonight, after the Shattered event that takes place after the SGF 2026 showcase (the event can be seen in full above).
Gundam Rogue Orbit
Bandai Namco then invaded the showcase to bring fans a fresh look at a new title in the Gundam video game series. The new Gundam Rogue Orbit is coming in 2027, and it appears to tell a brand new story in the universe.
An Eggstremely Hard Game
The next title shown at Summer Game Fest 2026 is a co-op title that features two geese attempting to not crack an egg called An Eggstremely Hard Game. Teamwork is the name of the game, when it launches on July 24.
CrossFire
The debut title from That’s No Moon (which houses developers who have worked for Infinity Ward and Naughty Dog), features two opposing operators who have to work together in the middle of a firefight. The two characters must fight together or die alone. This action-packed Sci-Fi title, CrossFire, launches at a TBD date.
Control Resonant
Remedy Games took the stage next to give fans a fresh look at Control Resonant, and the higher-than-ever stakes the world sees itself in. Control Resonant launches on September 24.
Guild Wars 3
The next exclusive announcement at Summer Game Fest 2026 is a new title in the Guild Wars series, Guild Wars 3. Fans can sign up for the newsletter now!
Star Wars: Galactic Racer
The next look at Star Wars: Galactic Racer showed off a brand new planet, where champions are born and losers are annihilated. There are even bigger stadiums and more biomes to race through in the golden age of the galactic league, when Star Wars: Galactic Racer launches on October 6.
End of Abyss
The next title shown at Summer Game Fest 2026, is a new title from Epic Games that features monstrousities and survival against them. This new game is a top-down sci-fi atmospheric horror game from Section 9 Interactive, published by Epic Games. End of Abyss launches on October 1.
Last Harbor
The next game from tinyBuild asks players how will you survive an open-world archipelago, where the living are just as much of a threat as the dead? Last Harbor seeks to answer that question. Fans can wishlist now.
Virtua Fighter Crossroads
The next title in the SEGA Virtua Fighter series from RGG Studio was then given a new look, showing the raw humanity behind the fighters. It’s coming in 2027.
RuneScape Dragonwilds
A new look was shown for RuneScape Dragonwilds, including a release date and that the title can be played in early access. Early access can be played now, the title launches October 15.
Soulframe: Preludes
Digital Extremes then interrupted the stream with a fresh trailer for its new action adventure title, Soulframe: Preludes. Fans can sign up for the pre-alpha now.
Grounded 2
Grounded 2’s Into The Abyss update is coming for all platforms, and it will officially launch for PlayStation 5 August 11.
Mafia Old Country: Man of Honor Story Expansion Announcement
Fans can extend their story in Mafis: The Old Country with the Man of Honor DLC coming soon. Players will be able to join the infamous Ennio Salieri to settle old scores in MAN OF HONOR, featuring two new story chapters and exclusive Free Ride content.
1666 Amsterdam
Another new game announcement was provided next at Summer Game Fest 2026 from the devs at Panache, and it has been in the making for over 15 years. In this new title, you play as a witch in 1666 Amsterdam. Fans can download the prologue of the story and play now on Steam.
Saw: Genesis
Billy from Saw then rolled out on his tricycle asking Geoff Keighley to play a game demanding a new Saw game trailer be played, and it was. In typical Saw fashion, a chilling monologue was followed by truly horrifying visuals. This is a new 3v1 multiplayer title in the same vein as Dead by Daylight, and the alpha is playable now.
Lords of the Fallen 2
The next trailer for Lords of the Fallen 2 was then shown, showing the high stakes of the followup, and how the veil between both worlds is fading. The title is set to launch in the Fall.
Star Wars Zero Company
The next title in the Star Wars series, is a strategy game brought to fans by EA Games. In this new title, fans will have to engage in strategic XCOM-like battles, and you will be able to control every move from your team how you like. The title is seemingly set before the rise of Vader, as Anakin Skywalker is shown at the end.
The Blood of the Dawnwalker
The next vampire game was then brought to the big screen at Summer Game Fest 2026, showing a contemporary setting and a vampire seemingly door dash delivering blood to himself, and this title will focus on a story of familial strife told over centuries. The Blood of The Dawnwalker will be an open-world title, and it launches on September 3, 2026.
Among Us Story and Series Announcement!
The next announcement was a world premiere from Inner Sloth, the creators of Among Us. First they revealed a new storyline-based game in the Among Us series, and then they announced a new animated series, and it all features everyone’s favourite little crewmates.
007: First Light New Mission Announcement
Bawma will return. 007: First Light is getting a new mission, and players will have to confront Bawma once more.
Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk Edgerunners
Wuthering Waves is having an exciting new crossover with the cast from Cyberpunk Edgerunners, and it’s launching on June 8.
Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance
There’s a new update for Monster Hunter Wilds, and its called Monster Hunter Wilds Acendance. This new update features a more aerial-based area for hunters to explore, and even more fearsome creatures to battle, including an Elder Dragon.
Swords of Legends
The next trailer at Summer Game Fest 2026 jumped straight into the action, as a halberd-wielding protagonist took up arms against a floating curtain boss fight named Kong Kong Zi, Master of Cantrip. During this action-filled fight, Kong Kong Zi threw many different moves and phases against the player, and you will have to stay vigilant to triumph over your opponents when Swords of Legends launches at a TBD date.
Hot Wheels Infinite Rush
A new Hot Wheels racing game was then revealed, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, and it’s the biggest one yet.
Sonic Racing Crossworlds Year 2 Announcements
SEGA then took the stage once more to reveal Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Year Two is coming! Sonic and friends welcome characters from Godzilla and Evangelion! A brand new indie game is also coming; Sonic Pico Park!
Attack on Titan 3
The next title in the Attack on Titan series (and produced by Omega Force) was then revealed, and it features more of the variant titans seen in the show, like the Armored Titan, and the Bestial Titan. The third installment is coming on July 1, 2026.
Clutch
A new open world racing title from the creators of Forza Horizon 6, is a narrative title that is more than just driving cars and racing. It’s coming in Spring 2027
Chronicles Medieval
Revealed at last year’s SGF 2025, Chronicles Medieval sees players enter The Hundred Years’ War, which has wreaked havoc on Europe. It’s up to you to command infantry and cavalry to maneuver your way to victory in Chronicles: Medieval. Early access begins later this year.
HITMAN World of Assassination (ft. Wiz Khalifa)
A new kill mission has been unleashed for HITMAN World of Assassination, and it features the rap superstar, Wiz Khalifa, and an MMA octagon.
Palworld 1.0
Palworld is finally dropping a full 1.0 release, and it’s coming on July 10.
The Wolf Among Us 2
After being in the works for many years, The Wolf Among Us 2 has finally been given a new look. And it’s coming in 2027. Until then, fans can snag the original The Wolf Among Us Remastered during the holiday season 2026.
Stellar Blade: Blood Rain
New stellar blade title from the developers of the original, the sequel continues the story beyond the events of the first game. Shift Up returns with Stellar Blade Blood Rain.
Street Fighter 6 Year Four – Tifa Is Coming!
For year four of Street Fighter 6, they’re introducing four new characters, including Final Fantasy VII’s Tifa Lockheart. All four characters are set to hit the stage in Street Fighter 6 Year Four.
Final Fantasy VII: Revelation
The final announcement at Summer Game Fest 2026 (and almost if they planned the last two announcements side by side), is the final chapter in the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, Final Fantasy VII: Revelation. The new entry will feature combat from Vincent Valentine, and Cid Highwind. The massive mega boss fights from the original, the Ruby Weapon and Emerald Weapons were shown for the first time in the new presentation.
