CES 2024 is bringing electronic announcements left and right, and Belkin is here to power them all with their “high-performing Qi2 chargers and mighty GaN solutions.” Belkin announced four brand-new products at CES 2024’s Unveiled event.
Belkin’s Qi2 Charging at CES 2024 Unveiled
Starting with the Qi2 charging devices, they announced the BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Stand and BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Power Bank.
The BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Stand uses the new Qi2 standard to bring 15W charging power to Qi2-enabled devices, Apple Watch Series 7 and up, and wireless earbuds. An adjustable hinge is also featured to give users ideal viewing angles. The BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Stand will come to select markets in March 2024 for $149.99 USD.
The BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Power Bank will bring that same 15W power to compatible devices without the need for cables. It features an integrated kickstand to prop up your smartphone for the perfect angle and works with magnetic and MagSafe cases up to 3mm thick. You can also use the pass-through approach to charge the power bank and your device in one go. The BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Power Bank comes in three sizes, 5K, 8K and 10K, for $59.99, $79.99, and $99.99 USD, respectively, in March 2024.
Belkin’s GaN Solutions at CES 2024 Unveiled
GaN charging has taken off in recent years, and at CES 2024, Belkin announced two new products in the GaN market: the BoostCharge Pro 4-Port USB-C GaN Charger 200W and the 6-in-1 Core GaN Dock.
The BoostCharge Pro 4-Port USB-C GaN Charger 200W is a 4-port USB-C GaN wall charger with 200W of power, boasting fast charging for four devices at once. This charger “supports high-powered laptops and gaming laptops and is engineered with GaN technology and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) to provide efficient power output and smart power allocation, giving connected devices a safe and optimal charge.” Measuring 92mm x 118.5mm x 35.5mm and 650g/1.32 lbs, the BoostCharge Pro 4-Port USB-C GaN Charger 200W is perfect for those who travel. This device is coming to market in March 2024 for $129.99 USD.
Belkin’s 6-in-1 Core GaN Dock could also be perfect for travellers or those who need some more ports at their workspace. This year, Belkin is working on bringing smaller, more efficient solutions, making this one 50% smaller than those of some competitors. “The Core GaN Dock features 1x HDMI port for high-definition display resolutions up to 4K, 2x USB-A ports for legacy devices, 2x USBC ports (1 with 96W power delivery), and 1-gigabit ethernet port for secure and reliable Internet connection.” The 6-in-1 Core GaN Dock is now available for $139.99 USD on their website.
