With the recent introduction of the limited-time Playground mode for Fortnite, players have found themselves busy flexing their creative muscles, so much so, that Epic has announced plans for making it a permanent mode in an upcoming update.
The announcement was made in a brief statement released by Epic, through their official Twitch account. The news comes shortly after the popular Playground mode had to be abruptly removed from the game world after issues regarding the latest patch caused match-matching issues.
For those unfamiliar with the Playground mode, the limited-time event gave players access to the large battle-royale island, minus the storm and opposition from other players, instead, the mode was meant to give players the freedom to explore the map, while having access to all the buildings tools present in the regular PVP mode of the game.

No release date has been announced at this time, regarding the Playground mode patch for Fortnite.
Fortnite is free to play on all major consoles, including the Switch, PC and mobile.
