Fall Guys is Officially Free-to-Play alongside Epic Game Store, Xbox and Nintendo Switch Launch

Fall Guys which originally launch on PC (Steam) and PS4 in August 2020 is officially free-to-play on all platforms starting today which does also coincides with the launch of the game on the Epic Game Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, so get your Bean on for free.

The celebration kicks off with a brand new season which developer, Mediatonic is describing as its “biggest and most action-packed season launch to date” which is completely compatible for crossplay and cross-progression across all platforms thanks to Epic Online Services. The free-to-pla launch follows Epic Games’ acquisition of Mediatonic back in March of last year. You can get a look at the newest season in the most recent Fall Guys gameplay trailer.

“We’re thrilled to see Mediatonic bringing crossplay and cross-progression to Fall Guys. The ability to connect with friends, wherever you play, is powerful and we couldn’t be more excited to see players stumbling, falling, and succeeding together with the help of Epic Online Services,” Epic Online Services senior director, Simon Allaeys said in a press release.

A full breakdown of Fall Guys‘ newest season are as listed below:

  • New Rounds:
    • The rip-roaring rotations of Hex-A-Ring, a new spin on a familiar sport which you could totally see in the Olympic – Volleyfall, and finally Speed Circuit (Run, Bean, Run)
  • New Obstacles:
    • The Blast Ball, Jump Rope and Bouncy Floors
  • New Season Pass & Currency Changes: 
    • The newest Fall Guys Season Pass includes 100 levels of Costumes, Emotes, Celebrations and more. Also, Fall Guys players can find out about the game’s new in-game currency Show-Bucks and other changes in a blog post on Fall Guys‘ website
