With each passing day, there’s more news to get gamers excited for E3. Today, that prize goes to Ubisoft. They just announced Far Cry 4.
The release date for the title is November 18, 2014 in North America and November 20, 2014 everywhere else on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
Keeping true to the series’ roots, this instalment will take place in a tropical setting in the Himalayas. The area is called Kyrat, an area that was taken over by a self appointed regime. Ubisoft Montreal will lead development, but other studios—including Toronto—will help out to some degree.
Not much else is known about the Far Cry 4, but Ubisoft says to check out their E3 conference on June 9, 2014 at 6p.m. EST.
