Two weeks ahead of the launch of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Square Enix is running a crossover event in the mobile title Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis.
From now through March 3, Ever Crisis players can go through the opening Nibelheim chapter of Rebirth as Cloud and Sephiroth explore the town’s mako reactor. Unlike the rest of the game, which uses a chibi-esque art style, the crossover event’s story will be told through scenes from Rebirth itself, while battles are played in the Ever Crisis style.
The story content is the same as found in the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo, which features the first chapter of the full game and can currently be downloaded on PS5.
There are several bonuses for players during the period, including a new “Guide Uniform” outfit for Tifa and “The Hellhound” outfit for Red XIII, which can be earned through the featured Draw Stamp Cards. Here are the login bonuses associated with the crossover.
- Now until February 18 at 11:59 AM PST, players can receive 1,000 Blue Crystals per day and obtain up to 3,000 Blue Crystals total from the FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Crossover Gift Login Bonus simply by logging in for 3 days.
- Now until March 3 at 11:59 AM PST, players can receive up to 170 free weapon draws (FFVII REBIRTH Crossover Daily Free x10 Draw) simply by logging in and obtain up to 3,000 Blue Crystals by completing all event missions before March 3 at 5:59 PM PST.
- Now until March 6 at 11:59 AM PST, players can obtain up to an additional 3,000 Blue Crystals for logging in for 15 days during the FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Crossover Login Bonus.
Released last year on mobile devices and PC, Ever Crisis has three different stories to choose from: a retelling of the original Final Fantasy 7, a retelling of Crisis Core, and a brand new story called The First Soldier. That new story focuses on a prototype SOLDIER named Glenn Lodbrok, and features a young Sephiroth.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth launches on February 29 for PS5.
