What’s the DC Universe like for someone who doesn’t have any powers (and isn’t Batman)? Well, looks like we finally have a glimpse of the non-super life.
Ordered into production last month, the first trailer for DC Entertainment and NBC’s new comedy series Powerless has leaked online. Starring Vanessa Hudgens (of High School Musical fame) as Emily, the show follows her daily life as an insurance adjuster for more “specialized” damages caused by superheros.
Described with similarities to “The Office”, the single-camera comedy was announced back in August of last year. While Vanessa Hudgens is the only named star in the official description, the trailer also shows Danny Pudi (best known as Abed from Community) and Kate Micucci (from the musical duo Garfunkel and Oats) in major roles.
