Fortnite is Bringing New Naruto Content According to Shonen Jump Magazine

It looks like the popular anime, Naruto, is making a comeback in Fortnite with new skins of other popular characters from the franchise, according to Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine page in Japanese.

Back in November Fortnite officially announced a collaboration to bring the ninja world of Naruto to its highly popular battle royale game. Today, the official magazine detailed that skins of Naruto characters—including Hinata Hyuga, Gaara, Itachi Uchiha, and Orochimaru—are coming to Battle Royale. There is a good chance that Naruto cosmetics will be releasing alongside these skins. Additionally, players who missed out on the first collaboration and didn’t get to pick up the skins of Narutos Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi in Fortnite will apparently get another chance in the upcoming collaboration.

The second collaboration of Masashi Kishimoto’s popular series has been rumoured since late May. This is according to a Fortnite leaker who said that Team 8 might be coming to the battle royale game this June during Chapter 3‘s third season. That hasn’t been fully confirmed at this point, but we do know at least one member of the Ninja team is coming.

Epic Games hasn’t officially confirmed the collaboration yet, but in the original collaboration, the news of Naruto coming to Fortnite was also first revealed through the magazine as well. Knowing all that, it looks like we are dealing with a little repeat of history, so it’s only a matter of time before Epic Games releases an official statement on the matter.

The first Fortnite crossover with the number one unpredictable knucklehead ninja happened during Fortnite Chapter 2‘s penultimate seventh season. Players who were able to participate during the game when Naruto and other Team 7 member skins were out in the wild didn’t just have access to the skins but also alternative outfits and some ninja-themed cosmetics like kunai, shuriken, scrolls and more.
