GTA Online's Criminal Enterprises Update Brings a Wealth of Changes and New Content

Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA Online) is getting a massive update on July 26, as “Criminal Enterprises” brings a huge amount of new content to the game.

Criminal Enterprises sets up a story where the economy of San Andreas has hit rock bottom. The main addition of this update brings a wealth of new missions and content for Executives, Bikers, Gunrunner, and Nightclub owners.

These are all roles that already existed in GTA Online, but the update looks to breathe new life into the older content.

Here’s an overview of each GTA Online role, via a press release from Rockstar:

  • Executives – Those who own an Executive Office will notice new staff manager Lupe, ready and able to help source additional Special Cargo for your empty shelves. A new side gig will also open up for Executives, where a shipment of Special Cargo will arrive daily outside your Warehouse, packed and ready for delivery to the docks. Plus, two new sources of Special Cargo will also be added to the mix of Source Missions, increasing the variety of missions available to white-collar criminals statewide.
  • Bikers – Clubhouses with the Custom Bike Shop are getting an on-the-house upgrade, where MC Presidents will be able to modify clients’ bikes to specifications and deliver them to customers for GTA$ and RP. Bikers will also be able to bolster their street cred and bottom lines by completing two new Clubhouse Contracts, posted on the meeting room wall at the Clubhouse. And you might notice patrons haunting the bar in your Clubhouse — a Bar Resupply mission will keep the kegs tapped and the clientele happy while earning a little extra income for your MC.
  • Gunrunners – Ammu-Nation has heard that you’re all about supplying quality goods at a fair price, and they want in. Make a daily delivery to a designated Ammu-Nation store for an additional source of revenue. When stocking your Bunker, you’ll come across two new Resupply Missions, so be sure to rob these new targets for all they’re worth. And players will also be able to launch Resupply Missions from the road or increase their research progress by sourcing data from a well-armed mark.
  • Nightclub Owners – Ammu-Nation has heard that you’re all about supplying quality goods at a fair price, and they want in.

In addition to these additions, Criminal Enterprises also brings another quest line called Operation Paper Trailer, which tasks players with investigating the IAA.

It’s not only new content coming to GTA Online, as the Criminal Enterprises update also brings a wealth of gameplay updates. This includes increased payouts across the board, the ability to own 10 properties, quicker access to snacks and armour, vehicle customization enhancements, and much more. There’s a huge laundry list of changes, so head over to Rockstar’s website to see everything.
