This announcement follows the showcase’s May edition, which highlighted more than 300 indies while garnering 10.4 million viewers.

Indie Live Expo 2023 Summer Spotlight

This Summer Spotlight plans to feature “deeper dives into dozens of handpicked titles throughout an hour-long celebration of gaming.” With developers from around the world, the diversity of the titles on display and the places you can find the development teams is definitely something worth watching. Considering more than 50 games are slated for reveal during this event, indie game fans will certainly not want to miss this one!

“Indie developers are a passionate group, and we think every indie game deserves a close look,” said Ryuta Konuma, Founder of Ryu’s Office. “We’re changing the formula up for Summer Spotlight to accomplish that, and we can’t wait for viewers to take a journey with us into the inner workings of our favorite submissions!”

Indie Live Expo Awards Grand Prize Unpacking

You can re-watch the INDIE Live Expo 2023 full stream on YouTube, which featured tons of indie goodness and the Grand Prize winner of the INDIE Live Expo Awards—Unpacking. With past sponsors like Cygames, WSSPlayground, PlayStation, Happinet, PLAYISM, Kodansha, and many more, the indies seen could come from vastly different genres with tons of potential across the board. Becoming more of a center for indie games, the INDIE Live Expo has grown significantly into a must-watch showcase for those looking for the next best indie titles.
