Long lost Fantastic Four film exposed in documentary 1

A Fantastic Four movie lost in time has emerged once again in the form of a documentary called Doomed! The Untold Story of Roger Corman’s The Fantastic Four.

The infamous film the documentary is based on was created by Roger Corman in 1994 with a surprising $1 million budget. It took only 28 days to shoot, which could be an attributing factor to why it’s so … shall we say, illogical? The legendary movie has been making its way around the world for the past few years via bootlegged VHS tapes and DVDs.

In celebration of the infamous movie’s 20th anniversary, Mary Langford and Mark Sikes have teamed up to create Doomed, which promises to satisfy all the curious people out there who may have heard whispers of the long lost movie’s existence.

It’s quite common nowadays to expect a trilogy out of super hero movies – or any movie for that matter – however, the most recent Fantastic Four movies directed by Tim Story were so bad that after Rise of the Silver Surfer, even Twentieth Century Fox was like, ‘nah we’re good.’ An entire reboot is now in the works, which will be directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle) and according to IGN, will be shot in Baton Rouge, Louisiana starting March 31.

Check out the trailer for the documentary below.
