Magic: The Gathering has unleashed big collaborations with licenses in its Universes Beyond sets, and Bethesda’s Fallout series is next in line to get the Universes Beyond treatment.

The Fallout series takes players to post-apocalyptic renditions of America, basically the results if nuclear warfare ever occurred. Today, Magic: The Gathering has revealed fans will be able to play iconic characters and creatures from the Fallout series in MTG with a new Universes Beyond collaboration. While the collaboration was announced in August, today Wizards of the Coast has unveiled the first details, including that there will be four new commander decks, and Fallout-themed staple cards like a Pip-Boy-flavoured ‘Arcane Signet,’ or a tired Vault Boy featured in a new ‘Wasteland’ illustration.

This latest collaboration is now available for preorder, with four themed commander decks featuring iconic characters like Dogmeat and Caesar are now available for preorder on Amazon – choose one for $45 or get all four for $164. Each 60-card deck has a different playstyle. There are also Fallout Collector Boosters with 15 cards for $23.

Whether you want to lead the Survivors with Dogmeat or swarm raiders with Caesar, secure your Fallout MTG decks and boosters now before they sell out. This special set brings the post-nuclear world of Fallout to life through new mechanics like junk tokens and rad counters. Relive adventures across the Wasteland with MTG versions of Super Mutants, Mothman and more.

MAGIC: THE GATHERING – FALLOUT COMMANDER DECKS

  • Scrappy Survivors (Red-Green-White) – Featuring the loyal companion from Fallout 4, Dogmeat, as your commander. This deck predictably focuses on scavenging for tools and producing food tokens, while also introducing Junk tokens which can be sacrificed to draw cards. If players prefer a deck that produces tokens and outfitting creatures with Auras and Equipment, then this for them.
  • Hail, Caesar (Red-White-Black) – The Hail, Caesar deck, features the franchise’s infamous Caesar from Fallout: New Vegas as your commander. This deck allows players to get aggressive with an army of creature tokens and swarming raiders. The new squad mechanic lets you create extra token copies of creatures, and it is featured here.
  • Science! (Blue-White-Red) – The Science! deck focuses on high-tech energy weapons, scientists, synths, pre-war robots, and maybe even nuclear weaponry. Dr. Madison Li from Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 serves as the commander and the deck uses artifacts to generate energy.
  • Mutant Menace (Black-Green-Blue) – Lastly, there’s the Mutant Menace deck, which folds Fallout‘s dangerous mutated creatures into Magic: The Gathering. The Wise Mothman from Fallout 76 functions as the player’s commander, and the deck focuses on playing creatures, then buffing them with counters and proliferate. New rad counters (player counters that mill and damage you) are featured here.

The new Magic: The Gathering Fallout Universes Beyond set is now available for pre-order, and fans can swing over to Amazon to grab theirs. The full release from Wizards of the Coast can also be read here. But act fast – these highly anticipated preorders won’t last long!
