Last week we were raving about Nintendo’s first mobile app, Miitomo. It’s weird, addicting take on mobile social media was both amazing and time consuming. It turns out we weren’t the only ones enjoying the app, as their official Japanese Twitter account announced it’s reached one million users.
Miitomo officially launched on March 17th, meaning it only took three days to reach this milestone. I don’t believe this takes into account users with multiple profiles, but it’s still a pretty incredible feat for Nintendo.
One has to wonder how the success of their first app will influence how they tackle the mobile market in the future. But for the time being, it’s safe to say their first try is as good as any.
