Kakao Games has announced a global publishing partnership with Chrono Studio for their highly anticipated Open World Action MMORPG, Chrono Odyssey.
Kakao Games is one of the leading South Korean game publishers behind massive games such as ArcheAge in the West and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) in South Korea. Utilizing Epic’s Unreal Engine 5, this new trailer shows a glimpse of the open world, dungeons, and some gameplay. Unlike most MMOs that are either Free-to-Play or require a subscription, Chrono Odyssey will opt to use a one-time purchase model with the promise of providing a AAA experience for both PC and console players. As the name of the title, Chrono Odyssey, implies, the developers aim to deliver a game where players will immerse themselves in the fantasy world they have constructed through gameplay mechanics revolving around manipulating time and space.
