NAGIS, the new gaming industry-focused event coming to Edmonton, Canada, this June, has detailed some of the speakers bringing their experience to the show.
Set up to be Canada’s leading industry-focused B2B gaming event, NAGIS is built to bring together leaders, creators and innovators with a focus on making partnerships, investment and more. The show is slated to take place in Edmonton, Canada, June 18th-19th, just before the big Game Con Canada event that starts on the 19th and runs through the 21st.
Built as an industry-based event working in tandem with Game Con Canada, it is slated to bring some major names to Edmonton, including some notable panels, such as a BioWare Reunion, bringing together Casey Hudson, Trent Oster, Gregory Zeschuk, and Mark Darrah on a panel moderated by the one and only Mark Meer, the voice of the male Commander Shepard. For fans of Mass Effect, KOTOR and the studio as a whole, this is a major event and showcases some of the incredible talent that has worked right in the city.
It does not stop there, with NAGIS bringing some major names in the industry to The Edmonton Expo Centre, including Nolan Bushnell, the founder of Atari, Toni Domenech (Hollywood Agent), YDB of the Wu-Tang Clan, Richard Garfield, the creator of Magic: The Gathering, and Kate Edwards, CEO of Geogrify and former Executive Director of the IGDA.
The event is slated to offer panels, talks, and meetups designed to help build a strong and innovative games industry here in Canada, and for anyone attending, NAGIS will feature food prepared by Top Chef Canada celebrity Chef Shane M. Chartrand, featuring an indigenous-themed menu for guests.
