The third installment in Hidetaka Miyazaki’s Dark Souls franchise is set to hit shelves in Japan on March 24. While the rest of the world waits on an April 12 release date, FromSoftware was kind enough to grace us with an English voice-over trailer.
With plenty of game footage already floating around the web, it felt like maybe too much of the game had already been revealed and we weren’t in for more surprises. This trailer more than crushed that hunch and just goes to show that Miyazaki has plenty of twisted ideas still waiting to be unleashed on unsuspecting gamers.
Battling a man riding a dragon and a giant enemy crab were the tamest things I spotted.
