Hello Games has just revealed that No Man’s Sky: The Abyss will be their next titled update, which will be free for all players.

The free update is scheduled to be released next week for existing players, and, keeping it with the theme of the season, it will feature eerie elements of the game.

The update will be the next titled one since No Man’s Sky: NEXT, which was launched a couple of months ago. Since the launch of NEXT, the developers have been adding new content into the game. This includes features like body shape customization, the Pilgrim motorbike, discovery leaderboards, and the Galactic Atlas.

“We have enjoyed posting weekly development updates and highlighting some of what players are up to in our game,” Sean at Hello Games wrote. “It’s so gratifying, and often quite touching, to see how No Man’s Sky and the community have grown and evolved.”

Hello Games has also revealed that the team has been taking community feedback and are working hard to improve the game.

No Man’s Sky: The Abyss is scheduled to arrive on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One next week.
