Nvidia Announces Over 100 New Laptops Powered With RTX GPUs

Nvidia is preparing for what it calls its biggest laptop launch yet with over 100 new laptops announced.

Its current desktop RTX 20 line of high-end GPUs are coming to each computer, bringing a no-compromise gaming experience starting with the RTX 2060 as a baseline for the cheapest model at $999. The new laptops will also include its signature RTX ray tracing and DLSS 2.0 capabilities to render games with more sprites and details in real-time.

The Max Q technology also allows the GPUs to work in a sleek RGB laptop chassis through hardware optimization for both Intel and AMD users.

Its statement also outlines several upgrades to current gaming and work-based laptops, including the Acer Nitro 5, ASUS Rog Strix G15 and the Lenovo Legion 5i, which vary with the brand new mobile versions of the RTX 20-Super GPUs. Its own DLSS battery optimization apparently boosts uptime by 20% for games running at mostly max settings. Over a quarter of the models will also include 300hz displays for future-proofing.
