PlayStation State Of Play Makes Exciting Return June 2

This Summer, PlayStation State Of Play returns on June 2nd, and it’s reportedly bringing near half an hour of news and potential announcements for PlayStation fans.

The most recent PlayStation State Of Play aired back in March, and gave fans a much needed in depth look at the new Hogwarts Legacy title with much unseen gameplay, and news regarding the upcoming dive into the Wizarding World that’s set to release later this year.

These State Of Play broadcasts keep fans in-the-know about all the latest upcoming news from the PlayStation brand, and the upcoming one will bring nearly 30 minutes of PlayStation announcements as confirmed by the PlayStation Blog.

It’s also worth noting in the blog it specifically leaves out PlayStation first-party titles, “We’ll have some exciting reveals from our third-party partners, plus a sneak peek at several games in development for PlayStation VR2,” so fans looking for new God of War: Ragnarok news, might be out of luck this presentation.

News of PlayStation VR2, however, comes as no surprise, as views of new VR based titles such as the first VR entry of the Horizon series, Horizon Call of the Mountain, was announced back in January of this year. The announcement also included specifications for the new VR2, and outlined many of the core features the headset will present.

The most recent PlayStation State of Play also showcased some of PlayStation’s upcoming software, such as Valkyrie Elysium and The Diofield Chronicle, and PlayStation has a good track record of showcasing what they announce prior to each of these information filled broadcasts, so fans can expect a mainly third-party and VR based showing.

How to watch the PlayStation State of Play

The next PlayStation State of Play will air June 2, at 6 p.m. on their Twitch channel, so fans can tune in then for more information.
