Razer Announces New Lancehead Wireless Mouse

Razer announced their new Razer Lancehead wireless mouse today.

Through what Razer is calling Adaptive Frequency Technology, the tech hardware manufacturer introduced what they consider the most reliable wireless mouse in the world. The Adaptive Frequency Technology automatically selects the interference-free frequencies within the 2.4 GHz band. The new technology actively switches when necessary. There is no lag in the transmission of data between the Lancehead and PC and it has a signal that outperforms every other wireless gaming mouse on the market. Other features for the device include its laser mouse sensor, considered to be the world’s most accurate. Razer’s mechanical mouse switches, co-designed and manufactured with Omron, rated to an industry best of 50 million clicks and a beta for Synapse Pro, a first for any Razer device. In addition, two DPI buttons will allow players to change sensitivity easily for any situation.

One of the goals behind the Razer Lancehead wireless mouse is creating a wireless mouse than esports player would consider bringing to a tournament setting where wired peripherals have always been the default choice.

Razer’s alternative, the Lancehead Tournament Edition wired gaming mouse will launch today. Featuring the world’s most advanced optical gaming sensor, Razer Mechanical Mouse Switches along with hybrid on=board and cloud memory through the upcoming Razer Synapse Pro (Beta), the Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition promises an unseen level accuracy and durability. The Razer Lancehead Tournament Edition is equipped with an esports-grade optical sensor with 16,000 DPI and a tracking speed of 450 IPS.

Both new mice will be joining the Razer Chroma line of devices, which also includes mouse mats, keyboards, headsets and laptops all powered by Razer Chroma lighting technology. This means that both the Lancehead wireless mouse and the Lancehead Tournament Edition will come equipped with 16.8 million customizable colours and a range of different effects.

The Razer Lancehead wireless mouse will launch later this year.
