Razer Reveals Opus X Lifestyle Headset

Razer announced today the arrival of their newest lifestyle headset, the Opus X. The arrival of this headset comes ahead of the company’s E3 presentation.

Razer is well-known for their lineup of PC accessories, ranging from keyboards, webcams, and all the Chroma lighting you could ever want. The company who call themselves the “world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers” has revealed their newest piece of tech with the Opus X headset.

Featuring Active Noise Cancellation technology and Bluetooth 5.0 combined with modern, over-the-ear styling in a range of vibrant colors, the Opus X will be available for purchase this Monday, June 14th at 7pm EDT from Razer.com, in-store RazerStore locations, and select retailers for $99.99 USD.

Key features of the Opus X Lifestyle Headset:

  • Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology
  • Bluetooth 5.0
  • 60ms low latency Gaming Mode
  • Quick Attention Mode
  • 40mm drivers
  • Two built-in microphones
  • Prolonged battery life of 30 hours
  • Modern, over-the-ear styling

It’s no coincidence that the release of this headset comes alongside Razer’s E3 presentation which is also scheduled for Monday, June 14th, but at 6pm EDT. The keynote will be shown in an “all-new extended reality format that blends live and virtual spaces together for an immersive presentation experience.” While this headset will likely be present at the presentation, we do now know as of yet what else we could see from their research and development sector, with anything possible for an announcement.

The E3 keynote will be shown on E3’s official channels, like YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and Facebook within the E3 portal and app, as well as at E3’s media partners, including IGN, GameSpot, PC Gamer, GamesRadar+, and more. Make sure you don’t miss out on all the announcements if you’re looking to reinvigorate your PC setup.
