NIS America and Furyu Corporation announced their latest RPG, Reynatis, coming to PC and consoles in Fall 2024.

From the team behind the iconic Disgaea games, NIS America and Furyu Corporation have announced their all-new RPG: Reynatis. The dark action RPG will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Steam in Fall 2024. The streets of Shibuya, Tokyo, never looked cooler than this!

Reynatis is an action RPG set in the most detailed recreated streets of Shibuya. It takes place in a world where fantasy meets reality, where the citizens of Shibuya fear magic and the power it holds. This forces wizards to conceal their inhuman abilities or face oppression.

Players will be free to explore this world of freedom versus order. The wizard Marin heads to Shibuya, where he meets Sari, an officer of the MEA (an organization dedicated to keeping wizards under control). Players have the choice to hide their magic while they navigate the city and shops, take on quests or use their explosive powers to reach new locations and battle those who stand in their way.

Or you can expose your true self to truly harness your powers. The journey will also take players into an alternate world called Another, described as “a fantasy land teeming with ferocious monsters and secrets to uncover.” There will be six different playable characters with their own unique abilities, ranging from summoning spells to aerial attacks. The game is directed by TAKUMI and features music by Yoko Shimomura.

While not too much was shown in the announcement, it does seem to be a pretty colourful game. It definitely has a mix of vibes of the Persona games and Genshin Impact to a certain extent. Reynatis will be out in Fall 2024. No exact release date has been revealed yet. It will be out on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5 and Steam. Be sure to check out the official website for more updates!
