Samsung unveiled its newest monitor at CES 2018. Yesterday the new CJ791 curved monitor was shown off CES.
The new curved monitor features Intel Thunderbolt 3 connectivity. Being designed for entertainment and business, the new 34-inch CJ791 monitor aligns single-source power and processing speed with a picture quality that proves for a comfortable and productive user experience.
The Thunderbolt, through a single cable is able to link and dock monitors and laptops without extensive writing. It also has a processing speed of 40 Gbps. This is at a rate of nearly four times faster than current USB alternatives. The Thunderbolt is also capable of providing up to 85 watts of laptop charging power.

The monitor uses display QLED presentation technology that accurately reflects colours across a 125 per cent sRGB spectrum and creates a visual engagement through deep blacks, bright whites and pure shades. These precise colours are matched with a 1, 500R curvature and ultra-wide 178-degree viewing angle. This allows players to view all of their surroundings and ensures a full immersive experience.

The new monitor includes a gamer-friendly mode that contains a dynamic gamma setting that adjusts colour and contrast of each individual scene to produce a “true-to-life environment.”
