Find out which one of your friends is the most sus in the most immersive Among Us experience yet, as the popular deduction game just announced it is coming to VR on tonight’s The Game Awards.
Innersloth, Schell Games and Robot Teddy broke the news at today’s event with a brand-new trailer. Browse the Skeld like never before, moving from the 2D version of Among Us as we know it to a new 3D, first-person experience.
Innersloth first partnered with Robot Teddy, a video game consulting agency, in 2020 to bring Among Us to multiple platforms, as well as help manage the business side of the game. From there, the teams began working with Schell Games, the largest full-service education and entertainment game development studio in the United States. Together, they will give Among Us players a whole new perspective in Virtual Reality.
“We are looking forward to continuing our existing relationship with Innersloth and Schell Games on this new development adventure,” said Director of Robot Teddy, Callum Underwood. “Virtual reality is growing in popularity, and this growth will only continue to increase as new platforms and technologies emerge. We couldn’t be more excited to work with both companies to bring this next iteration of Among Us to fruition.”
Among us has already announced that it is heading to Xbox and PlayStation December 14, 2021, but now players can look forward to eventually seeing the game on Meta Quest, PlayStation VR, and SteamVR headsets. Players can already find the game on Steam, Nintendo Switch, itch.io, iOS, Epic Store, Windows Store and Android.

If that were not enough Among Us news, SCRAMBLER and the entire Samurai Gunn 2 team are excited to welcome today a new guest character: The Crewmate from Among Us! The character will be added in an update coming December 16th and will also feature a new Among Us stage based on The Skeld so get your spacesuites, ready.
