Switch Owners Getting a Sneak Peek at Greak: Memories of Asur

A console exclusive Demo of Greak: Memories of Asur has been released today for the Nintendo Switch published by Team17 and developed by a four person, Mexico-based studio, Navengate Entertainment. The game is Navengate’s debut title.

Greak: Memories of Asur has you guide three Courine siblings (Greak, Adara and Raydel) through a series of puzzles as they seek to escape the invasion of the Evil Urlags in this single player adventure. The player alternates between the characters to make their way through the levels. Each of the characters has special abilities to help you navigate your way through the game.

Greak, due to his small size, can fit in narrow spaces. He is fast and agile and carries a sword and crossbow with him into battle. Adara, the middle child and only girl of the trio, uses magic for her range attacks and can levitate. She can also dive, making her a great explorer. Raydel is the warrior and carries a heavy sword and shield. He travels with a hookshot to get around tough obstacles.

The game features hand-drawn art and animation as well as a full orchestra soundtrack (recorded by the Philharmonic Orchestra Cinqo de Mayo) providing the atmosphere to this digital side scroller. The total experience should take a player about ten hours.

The game is currently available to wishlist on Steam (where a demo is also available) and will be available for digital download on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for $19.99 on August 17. A physical copy, according to Team17’s FAQ, will be made available for the PS5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch.
You can watch a video for the Nintendo Switch Demo here.
