Splatoon 3 has released many amiibo that unlock goodies for Splatoon players, and the recently announced Deep Cut amiibo unlocks have now been revealed.

Nintendo has pulled back the curtain today on what the upcoming Splatoon 3 Deep Cut amiibo unlocks for players. The Deep Cut amiibo were revealed back in August, along with Drizzle Season, which started on September 1. Below fans can find a trailer that reveals all of the exclusive unlockables Squidlings can obtain when using the new amiibo.

Each of the three figures gives players an unlock merch item featuring the corresponding group member’s amiibo. The Shiver amiibo unlocks a Shiver outfit, and the same goes for Frye and Big Man. Interestingly enough, each amiibo also allows the player to unlock a photo-op with the corresponding member around Splatsville. Fans can use these photo-ops to take photos with their favourite Cut members in front of favourite Splatsville locations like Hotlantis.

It has been a full year since Splatoon 3 launched, and there are still exciting releases on the horizon planned for Squidlings. The upcoming Side-Order DLC is inching closer to its Spring 2024 launch date, and fans will be able to explore a new single-player campaign that is designed to be played over and over again.

The DLC was revealed in a very brief teaser during the Nintendo Direct back in February 2023 and expanded on with another trailer in September 2023. It reimagines what would have happened had Team Order defeated Team Chaos in Splatoon 2, and the hub world of Inkopolis Square is reimagined into a husk of itself, completely devoid of colour.

While we are still decently far from the upcoming Side-Order DLC, the Deep Cut amiibo for Splatoon 3 is releasing on November 17, and preorders for the amiibo are up at many retailers such as GameStop if fans want to secure theirs ahead of time.
