Nintendo has announced the release date of the upcoming remake.
The headline says it all. Star Fox 64 will be out on July 14th, although that’s just the Japanese release date and there’s still no word on when the three-dimensional Arwings will be landing in North American.
While Nintendo has released plenty of information on the Ocarina of Time 3DS remake, details on Star Fox 64 3D are still slim. The original game’s split-screen multiplayer was one of the better aspects at the time, so the remake might go from a “maybe” to a “must-buy” if Nintendo announces that it will support online multiplayer.
