With The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes quickly approaching its June PC release, a new trailer from Random Potion and Wild River Games outlining the character creation process has been released.
Like any good RPG, The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes will feature a robust character creator that has players pick several cards that feature beautifully illustrated watercolour depictions of traits and other character quirks that make up the starting player avatar. The cards include everything from species, class, profession, character origins, amongst other key attributes.
Non-critical, cosmetic changes are also included within the character creator, allowing players to change things such as skin tone, hair colour, and other more-nuanced facial features. For those unfamiliar with The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes, the forthcoming RPG is based on the popular German tabletop game of the same name and is similar to titles such as Dungeons and Dragons.
The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes will see release on June 9. 2020 for $29.99 USD or $42.49 CDN.
