Try Out JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle Right Now

Try Out JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle Right Now 1

Those waiting to get a chance to try JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle can now download the all-new demo from the PlayStation Network Store .

The demo features fights from the arcade mode and allows competitors to try out three different fighters (Caesar A. Zeppeli, Jotaro Kujo, Dio Brando).

Veteran franchise JoJo first reappeared in the spotlight in 2012 when an enhanced port of the classic fighter JOJO’s Bizarre Adventure was announced for both PSN and Xbox Live Arcade.

Despite this All Star Battle is coming out exclusively for the PS3.

The game itself features 3D combat not unlike that of Soul Calibur and Tekken. What makes JoJo unique is that each character has what is called a “Style” gauge. This gives each fighter an ability that augments them somehow. For example, one style is called Hamon which changes the strength of the player. The title is developed by CyberConnect2, well known for their Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series.

The whacky characters actually come from a classic manga series that appeared in Shonen Jump in 1986. Believe it or not the series is still on-going (take that One Piece and Naruto).

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle comes out April 29. Be sure to check out our Lunch Breaks where we play the import version.
