OnePlus continues to innovate with the launch of its latest earbuds, the Nord Buds 3 Pros. Designed with the ‘tech-savvy youth’ in mind, these earbuds combine a stylish appearance with high-performance features. Priced at an accessible $79.99, they offer great value without sacrificing quality, making them an attractive option for a wide range of users.
OnePlus is offering these buds in both ‘Soft Jade’ and ‘Starry Black,’ the latter of which I had the pleasure of trying out. While the overall design reminded me a little of the newer Apple Airpods, the look and feel of the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro still felt well made while weighing a minuscule 4.4g each, making them much more comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The rounded, almost pebble-shaped case was easy to slip in and out of my pockets and had minimal branding, something I like more these days as I prefer a cleaner look on my tech gear.
Connecting the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pros to your phone is as simple as opening the lid on the earbud case. The pairing notification immediately popped up, and pairing was a single press away. Those who use multiple devices at a single time will be happy to know that dual connections are also available if desired, although I did not find myself using them too much.

Music was noticeably clearer-sounding, with vocals sounding much sharper than many other earbuds I have tested over the years. The bass was also much punchier and deeper, making for a much more pleasing and detailed listening experience.
Users can additionally tune the EQ to their hearts’ content through the HeyMelody app, available on iOS and Android devices. The app also allows you to set the earbud taps to perform different functions or controls and even tune the Active Noise Cancellation to block more or less noise.
While on the go, the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pros will be there to last you through the day, giving you up to 12 hours of listening time on a single charge, provided ANC is turned off. This easily makes the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pros one of the longest-lasting pair of earbuds on the market, outlasting every pair of earbuds I have owned or tested in the last several years by no less than an hour! The carrying case can provide up to an additional 44 hours of playback, which is more than enough to get you through a long weekend away from home or even some of the longest flights when travelling.

When it comes time to top up, in typical OnePlus fashion, quick charge times were not compromised. A mere 10 minutes will give you an additional 11 hours of listening time. That means in less time than it takes to make and eat your breakfast or get your morning coffee, you can be ready to listen to whatever you desire for almost a full day.
Another feature that OnePlus didn’t skimp on was the durability of these buds. With IP55 water and dust resistance, there aren’t many places where you can’t take these buds and listen to them. While I still wouldn’t risk taking them in the shower or anywhere with high water pressure, going to the beach with a set of earbuds is easily possible with the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pros.
With the new Nord Buds 3 Pros, OnePlus has hit the jackpot once again. Not only are they absolutely packed with features, but the overall feel, durability and battery life make them hard to pass up, even at full price.
