Redragon always finds a way to combine high-quality peripherals and accessories with affordable prices. The Redragon Terraflare K762 Pro keyboard continues that tradition with its latest full-size mechanical keyboard. The most distinctive feature of this keyboard is its 1.41-inch smart info-island screen. If you are a keyboard enthusiast, you will know about screens on keyboards.
This small screen on the Redragon Terraflare K762 Pro can display the time, battery level, typing status, and even GIFs. If Redragon wanted to go above and beyond, it could have made the LCD screen an OLED one instead, exactly like these premium keyboards did: the Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75%, ASUS ROG Azoth, ASUS ROG Azoth X, SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen 3 and Apex 5.
The Redragon Terraflare K762 Pro keyboard comes with convenient controls too, thanks to the knob. This knob can adjust the screen settings and handle the usual media controls, including volume, play/pause, and more. Essentially, this 104-key keyboard doesn’t waste space on extra control keys.

Out of the box, the Redragon Terraflare K762 Pro keyboard came with a detachable USB-C cable, one nano receiver, one keycap and switch puller, eight spare switches, a classic Redragon sticker and the user manual. The keycap and switch puller were one of the better ones, using metal pseudo-tongs. These are better than the plastic pullers that resemble tongs a bit more, since those can scratch keycaps much more easily if you are not careful. So, I appreciated that Redragon used the metal puller for this one.
One standout feature of the Redragon Terraflare K762 that surprised me was how there is a built-in switch to toggle between Windows and Mac systems. This could be useful if someone has both, allowing for tailored experiences between both types of PC’s. Who knows, maybe you would like to use this at the office on Windows computers, and then bring it home to use on your Mac. It could be great to use between different laptop setups too.
The Redragon Terraflare K762 Pro keyboard comes in at a hefty 2.9 lbs., but is packed with five layers of noise damping. It comes equipped with 3.5mm PO foam, IXPE switch foam, PET sound pad, bottom socket foam, silicone bottom pad, along with the silicone gasket. Redragon boasts of eliminating 95% of the hollow sound and adds an extra 25% to noise dampening. This means that every keystroke is as responsive to the touch as it is comfortable and does not sound too hollow. The typing acoustics are some of the best, at least for this price point.
This Redragon Terraflare K762 keyboard is built with a thick-lubed custom linear switch combo and a gasket form factor. I can confidently say that the typing experience was clean and felt right, with the keys bottoming out where I needed them to. Sometimes, I thought it should react a bit more sensitively to lighter touches, but no, this was the perfect feedback for my typing experience. The keystroke feedback was nice and did not feel too loose or squishy when pressing each key. I know they have to use the custom Mambo Mint switches, but it would be nice to offer the option to buy them with linear or tactile switches.
The Redragon Terraflare K762 supports hot-swappable keys, so any 3- or 5-pin keys can be swapped. Having this is a nice touch for those who are switching or upgrading their keyboards and want to keep their favourite keys to carry over on this new keyboard.
Something Redragon keyboards are notorious for is that many of their RGB lighting units have dead spots, and this one was no exception. If that is a little nitpick you notice too, then this might be a bit of a con for you. But the low-to-mid entry cost reflects these small aesthetic blemishes. In terms of the colourway, the White & Purple is stunning. The Redragon Terraflare K762 Pro keyboard also comes in White & Blue and White & Pink.

Since the Redragon Terraflare K762 Pro keyboard can be used wirelessly via Bluetooth or a 2.4 GHz dongle, I had to test its rechargeable 4,000 mAh battery. On a full charge, I did not need to recharge this keyboard. I used it for about two weeks straight for about 6-10 hours each day. Redragon called it “anti-anxiety long-lasting battery”, which sounds about right. Sometimes, I forget to unplug the dongle from my computer and laptop.
Realistically, I would not carry this full-size keyboard around, but some people do that. The on-board Bluetooth option is great for that, or if users run out of USB space to plug in the dongle. And if the battery is dying, you can also use any USB-C cable to connect it to a laptop or PC.
The Redragon Terraflare K762 Pro keyboard was a pleasant experience. The overall design and thoughtful, versatile features are a plus, specifically but not limited to being able to switch between Mac and Windows. For $76.99, this was a nice balance of quality and cost. By no means would I consider this the highest-tier quality for competitive gaming or for thwarting typing fatigue. But for aesthetics, the colour pop of the RGB and overall keyboard colourways looked great on the eyes. For anyone looking for a keyboard for this purpose, I would recommend this keyboard.
