Circulating rumours were brought to an end today when Naughty Dog confirmed that The Last Of Us is indeed being re-released on PlayStation 4.
The game has been re-named as The Last Of Us: Remastered and features full 1080p resolution as well as improved character design and lighting. Alongside this is the inclusion of the DLC Left Behind, all the multi-player maps and an in-game commentary.
A release date has not been announced but you can pre-order the game here right now.
The Last Of Us made a huge splash on the PlayStation 3 last year for its gritty story-telling and amazing characters.
The genre is survival horror. The world has been over-taken by an insect-like virus that turns humans into monsters. You play as Joel, a grizzled man who has one mission: protect a girl and lead her across a post-apocalyptic America.
We here at CGM actually made it our game of the year and highly recommend you check it out.
