Since leaving Facebook, it seems like Palmer Luckey is enjoying himself.

Followers of his antics were informed via twitter that he and his girlfriend Nicole Edelmann (cosplayer Nikki Moxxi) were hanging out in Japan both dressed as Quiet Metal Gear Solid V, the character known for wearing as little clothing as possible so she can breathe properly.

Luckey left Facebook at the end of March amidst controversy involving him creating memes of Hillary Clinton during the election. This damaged his reputation, leaving him to limit his presence at public events.

Luckey founded Oculus in 2012, and launched a Kickstarter campaign for the device. The campaign raised $2.4 million, and is credited as one of the main reasons VR is such a hot technology in the gaming industry today.  Following the Kickstarter, Oculus was purchased by Facebook for over $ 2 billion, and a year later, 2015, the company partnered with Samsung to develop the Samsung Gear VR headset, one of the more inexpensive, and easily accessible VR headsets.
