Prepare for Titian Fall, Respawn Entertainment’s Vince Zampella, CEO of Respawn and Call of Duty co-creator, in an interview with Gamespot, may have released details on the future of the Parkour, Mecha filled First Person Shooter franchise after Titanfall 2.

After being asked how the game performed during a busy holiday schedule, Zampella replied with

“The game was successful, it sold well, but it didn’t quite sell as well as it should have. Maybe because it was super crowded, the pricing was aggressive–it was a rough window to launch our game. But we’ve got a really great fanbase. There’s not really much negativity or acidity compared to other communities, so I’m very thankful for that. It’s important for us to keep the franchise going. “We’re doing more Titanfall,” which is the quote I’m supposed to say. We have our franchise creative director, who’s in charge of safeguarding the franchise in multiple formats and making sure it continues to grow. There’s some other things we’re doing that haven’t been announced just yet, but we’re heavily invested in the Titanfall universe.”

With the key information gleaned being, the excerpt “Were doing more Titanfall.” It shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, although the sales figures for Titanfall 2 did under deliver to what the projected sales were expected to be, overall the series can be considered a great success. It’s reassuring to hear the head of Respawn suggest that more Titanfall is in the works.

Titanfall 2 was renowned for it’s excellent multiplayer, however many fans really praised the title for its stellar single player campaign mode, something that wasn’t even in the original title. We gave Titanfall 2 an impressive 9/10,  praising the game for its over the top set pieces and cool parkour mechanics.

Titanfall 2 recently got additional downloadable content, in the form of free multiplayer content.
